Refreshing Citrus Infused Water

This refreshing citrus-infused water is perfect for hydrating on a hot day. The combination of lemon, lime, and orange slices with fresh mint creates a revitalizing drink that is both delicious and invigorating.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 lime, sliced

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • A handful of fresh mint leaves

  • 8 cups of filtered water

Instructions:

Put mint leaves, orange slices, lemon, and lime in a large pitcher


Add clean water to the fruits and mint leaves


Mix everything together slowly


Put it in the fridge for at least an hour to let the flavors mix


Put ice cubes on top and serve cold

Creamy Chicken Pot Pie Soup

A comforting and creamy chicken pot pie soup that captures the flavors of a classic pot pie in a bowl. Perfect for cozy evenings or when you crave a hearty and satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded

  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust, optional for serving

Instructions:

Melt the butter in a big pot over medium-low heat


Put in the chopped onion and celery and cook until they get soft


To make a roux, stir in the flour and cook for two minutes


So that it's smooth, slowly whisk in the milk and chicken broth


Mix the vegetables and add the shredded chicken and thyme


Add salt and pepper, and then let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes


Add the heavy cream and stir it in


Simmer for five more minutes


Place the soup in bowls and top with a warm pie crust if you'd like


Add fresh thyme on top and enjoy!

Ultimate Grilled Cheeseburger

This ultimate grilled cheeseburger is a classic favorite for grilling season. Juicy beef patties, melted cheddar cheese, and a special sauce create a mouthwatering combination that will leave you craving for more.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup diced onions

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for garnish

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat


Put the ground beef and salt and pepper in a bowl and mix them together


Make 4 patties out of it


Grill the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them


Cover the grill and add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking


This will melt the cheese


On the grill, toast the buns for about one minute, until they get a little brown


To make the sauce, put diced onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard in a small bowl and mix them together


Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun of each burger, then top with a cheese-topped patty, a slice of tomato, and pickles


Spread the sauce on the top bun and then put it on top of the burger that has been put together


Enjoy while hot!

Ingredients:

  • 6 ears of corn, kernels removed

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups vegetable broth

  • 1 cup diced potatoes

  • 1 cup diced carrots

  • 1 cup diced celery

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

Add the heavy cream and cook for another 30 minutes

Couscous Salad with Cherry Tomatoes and Mozzarella

  • 1 cup couscous

  • 1 1/4 cups water

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions:

Boil 1 1/4 cups of water in a saucepan

In a large bowl, combine the cooked and cooled couscous, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, and chopped basil


In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar


Season with salt and pepper to taste


Drizzle the dressing over the couscous salad and toss to combine all the ingredients


Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving


Serve chilled and garnish with additional basil leaves if desired

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups grated carrots

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup raisins

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners


Grate the carrots and mix them with the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl


Take a different bowl and mix the almond milk, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract with a whisk


Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed


Add chopped walnuts and raisins and mix well


Fill up each muffin tin cup three quarters of the way to the top with batter


Put it in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean


Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes in the pan before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

Grease a square baking pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius


Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl


Melt the butter and stir in the sugar in a separate bowl until thoroughly blended


To the butter-sugar mixture, add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth


Stirring until just combined, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture


Add the chocolate chips and fold


Transfer the brownie mixture into the baking pan that has been preheated and level it out


When a toothpick is inserted into the center, a few moist crumbs should come out


Bake for 20 to 25 minutes


Let the brownies cool in the pan completely


Cut the brownies into small squares after they have cooled


To make ice cream sandwiches, take a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sandwich it between two brownie squares


Before serving, place each ice cream sandwich in a plastic wrapper and freeze for at least two hours

This Chinese hot and sour soup is easy to make and tastes great. It has just the right amount of heat and sourness. It's easy to make and full of comforting foods like mushrooms, tofu, and bamboo shoots.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced

  • 1/2 cup tofu, cubed

  • 1/4 cup bamboo shoots, julienned

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

  • White pepper, to taste

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

In a pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer


Add shiitake mushrooms, tofu, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili garlic sauce


Simmer for 5 minutes


Slowly pour in the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps


Continue to simmer until the soup thickens


While stirring the soup in a circular motion, slowly pour in the beaten egg to create ribbons


Cook for an additional 2 minutes


Season with white pepper and salt to taste


Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions

Shrimp Boil

Shrimp boil is a classic Southern dish that brings together a variety of seafood and vegetables in a flavorful broth. It's perfect for gatherings or family dinners, and it's easy to customize with your favorite ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs large shrimp, deveined and shell-on

  • 2 lbs baby potatoes

  • 4 ears of corn, halved

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1/2 cup Old Bay seasoning

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 bay leaves

  • 2 onions, quartered

  • 8 cups water

Instructions:

Bring water to a boil in a big pot


Spice it up with Old Bay, garlic, bay leaves, and onions


For 10 minutes, let it cook


Put sausage and potatoes in the pot


Let it cook for 10 minutes


Put corn and lemon slices in the pot


For an extra 5 minutes, cook


Last, add the shrimp and cook for three to four minutes, until they turn pink


Once everything is done, pour the liquid out of the pot and put the food on a big platter to serve


Serve hot with extra Old Bay seasoning and melted butter to dip
